What each van load looks like in real terms
Because you pay for the space you use, it helps to picture it. A single item or minimum charge from £24.99 covers up to about 40kg, roughly six to eight bin bags or one bulky item like a chest of drawers. A quarter van load from £50 suits a small bedroom clear-out or a few bags plus a mattress. A half van load from £100 is a typical garage or a two-piece suite with boxes. A full van load from £200 handles a whole room of furniture or a small house clearance. If your waste is heavy rather than bulky, such as rubble, soil or tiles, we price by weight instead, from £45 for 50kg up to £680 for a full tonne, so you are never overcharged for dense material.
What our two-person team carries out for you
You do not lift a thing. The crew carries everything from wherever it sits, whether that is a top-floor flat in Headingley, a back garden in Armley or a locked garage. We take furniture, sofas, mattresses, white goods, garden waste, flooring, light building waste and general household clutter. A few items simply take a different route rather than a normal load. Sofas and armchairs are upholstered domestic seating and must be incinerated at an authorised facility, so they go by two-man collection from £54. Fridges and freezers are degassed by a licensed facility before recycling, from £60. Asbestos and chemicals we broker to a specialist rather than carry ourselves. Everything else goes straight on the van.

We are a fully licensed waste carrier, Environment Agency registration CBDU597687, and every collection comes with a digital waste transfer note as your legal proof of disposal. Loads go to licensed transfer stations across West Yorkshire where more than 85% is sorted for recycling or reuse rather than sent to landfill. Metals, wood, cardboard and working furniture are separated out, and only the genuine residue is disposed of. Passing your waste to an unlicensed collector can leave you facing a fixed penalty if it is later fly-tipped, so using a registered carrier protects you as well as the environment.
