If there is a mattress or a sofa in there we add the item rate, for example a single mattress at £45 or a two seat sofa at £72, because those cannot be dealt with the same way as general junk. Our two person crew does all the carrying, including the heavy and awkward items buried at the back that you have been putting off for years. We take furniture, appliances, hand and power tools, tyres where the site accepts them, timber, boxes and general junk. Items banned from skips, such as fridges, mattresses and sofas, are no obstacle for us because we collect them through the correct routes rather than by skip, so nothing has to be left behind. If you want a section kept, such as the tools on one wall or the bikes in the corner, just point it out and we work around it. We are used to garages where nobody is quite sure what is in the boxes anymore, so we can open and check as we go rather than clearing blind, which means nothing important gets taken by mistake.

Back at base we sort the load so metal, wood, electricals and anything reusable is diverted from landfill, with more than 85% of what we handle recycled or reused.
