What a shop clearance costs
Cost is based on how much we take away, so you only pay for what actually leaves the unit. A small clearout starts from £24.99, a quarter van from £50, a half van from £100 and a full van from £200. Heavier commercial loads, such as a stockroom full of dense material, can be priced by weight instead, for example £68 for 100kg or £340 for 500kg. Bulky single items are covered within these figures too, such as upholstered seating from £54 for a single-seat piece, a two-door cupboard at £54 or a filing unit priced within the load. Give us a walk round or a set of photos and we quote the whole job as one fixed price, so the figure you agree is the figure you pay when the unit is empty.
What we take from a unit
We remove shelving, gondolas, rails, counters, till points, mannequins, changing-room fittings, old and damaged stock, packaging, broken displays, promotional signage, office and staffroom furniture and general trade waste. Our two-person crews carry everything out so your own staff are not tied up lifting, and where access allows we can work around your trading hours, come in first thing before you open, or arrive out of hours to avoid disrupting customers. It makes no difference whether the unit is a small high-street shop, a market stall, a salon or a larger retail floor across two levels. We are used to tight loading bays, upstairs stockrooms and awkward access, and we plan the visit around whatever the building throws at us.
Recycling and compliance
More than 85 percent of what we collect is recycled or reused. Cardboard, timber, metal and plastics are separated for recycling, and any fixtures still in good order are passed on rather than sent to waste. Electrical items such as tills, fridges and display screens are recycled under WEEE, with fridges degassed by a licensed facility. Because we are fully licensed, you keep a clean paper trail for the landlord, the incoming tenant or your own compliance file.
