House clearance in Leeds: the local guide

Probate and executor clearances
Whole-house clearances in Leeds very often follow a death. Often the executor lives outside Leeds and needs the house empty before it can be sold or handed back to the landlord. Landlords, letting agents and HMOs

Care home moves and downsizing
When a parent moves into care, the family usually has a few weeks to empty a house while dealing with everything else. We take our lead from you: what is going to the care home or to relatives comes out first, then we clear the rest. Keep your paperwork
If waste from your home is fly-tipped by an unlicensed carrier, Leeds City Council can fine you £200, even though you paid someone to take it. You may see £600 quoted online, which is the ceiling across England rather than the Leeds figure. Ask any clearance firm for its waste carrier licence and a transfer note.
