How last minute removals are priced
The rate is exactly the same whether you booked weeks ahead or called this morning. A van and driver is £75 for the first hour then £40 for each additional hour, and two men and a van is £100 for the first hour then £55 for each additional hour. A one bedroom home still starts from £210 even at short notice, so a genuine emergency does not carry a penalty, and the price is fixed before we begin. A short notice call never means a rushed quote, and you will always know the full figure before we lift a thing.
What the crew actually does
We move fast without ever cutting corners on care. The team loads, wraps and straps everything properly, dismantles beds and wardrobes where they need to come apart, and reassembles them at the other end just as we would on a booking made weeks in advance. Even on a same day call we arrive with all the blankets, straps and padding, because the whole point of doing it quickly is that nothing gets damaged in the hurry. We would far rather take the extra few minutes to wrap a sofa properly than rush it and hand you a marked piece of furniture at the other end.

We send whatever is free and right for your load, from a small van for a handful of items up to a Luton for a full flat. When you call, tell us roughly what you have and where it is going, and we will bring a vehicle that fits it in a single trip wherever we possibly can, so the whole thing is done in one go rather than dragged out.

Every job is fully insured with goods in transit cover, our crews are DBS checked, and there is no deposit needed to secure the booking. Have your postcodes and a rough list ready when you call and we can often have a crew with you within a few hours. Even at short notice the price is agreed before we set off, so a same day move never means signing up to an unknown figure.
