"The two young men could not have been more helpful. I'm not as steady on my feet these days and they carried everything down from the spare room without any fuss. Lovely manners, fair price."
"Quick response and a lovely bit of customer service. Booked in the morning and it was gone by teatime. Worked out cheaper than the skip I was about to hire. Highly recommend."
"Phoned around for quotes and Kruze came in cheapest by a good margin. Turned up exactly when they said and had the job done and dusted in no time. No complaints at all."
"Rang Kruze first thing and they sorted a full garage clearance the same day. Outstanding from start to finish. Fair price and they left everything swept up behind them."

You only pay for the space your rubbish fills, not a fixed skip you might not use. Every price includes labour, loading and licensed disposal.
Minimum charge covers up to 40kg, about 6 to 8 black bin bags. Prices include disposal, labour and a waste transfer note. Mattresses, sofas and fridges are regulated items that each carry their own disposal cost, so they are priced per item on top of the load size. WhatsApp a photo for a fixed price and we will beat any like-for-like licensed quote by 10%.

Kruze is a member of the Leeds Accredited Waste Carrier Scheme (LAWCS), run by Leeds City Council. Members are checked by the council and follow its code of practice: legal disposal only, proper paperwork on every job, and records the council can inspect. Householders in Leeds can be fined £200 if their waste is fly-tipped by an unlicensed carrier, so it pays to check. We also hold Environment Agency waste carrier licence CBDU597687. See the scheme on the Leeds Directory.

Not by us, we're a paid service, but we'll be straight with you. Your local council runs a cheaper bulky waste collection if you can wait and can carry everything out yourself. We start from £24.99, collect the same day, and lift it from any room including upstairs.
Cheaper, yes, but slower and more restricted. You wait for a slot, there's a limit on how many items you can put out, and you carry it all to the kerbside yourself. We collect from anywhere in the property and take almost anything, so you're paying for speed and for not lifting it.
Not always. As long as we can get to the waste and the price is agreed beforehand, we can collect while you're out. Plenty of our landlord and estate agent customers book exactly that way.
Yes. We carry full public liability cover on every job, so your property is protected while we work.
Kruze provides cheap, fully licensed rubbish removal right across Leeds and every LS postcode, including Armley, Headingley, Roundhay, Morley, Pudsey and Horsforth. Our yard is on Portland Road in Armley, so Leeds is our home city rather than somewhere we travel to, and we reach most of it within the hour. Our local man and van teams clear household junk, furniture, appliances, garden and building waste from homes and businesses, doing all the lifting and loading for you.
Every collection comes with a digital waste transfer note and responsible disposal, with over 85% recycled rather than sent to landfill, and that note is what covers your duty of care as a householder, landlord or agent. We offer same-day rubbish removal across Leeds when you book before noon, and we will beat any like-for-like licensed quote by 10%.
Leeds is really a dozen different housing types in one city, and each one changes how a clearance actually gets done. There are back to backs and through terraces across Harehills, Beeston and Armley with no driveway and no rear access, Victorian student terraces and HMOs around Headingley, Hyde Park and Woodhouse, stone terraces out at Morley and Pudsey, and large Edwardian villas with cellars and long gardens up in Roundhay, Alwoodley and Adel. Our yard is on Portland Road in Armley, so this is our own doorstep rather than a place we drive out to, and our two-person teams carry everything out for you, up or down the stairs, through the ginnel or off the top of the hill, so you never lift a thing.
We collect right across the LS postcodes, including the city centre (LS1 and LS2), Kirkstall and Burley (LS4 and LS5), Headingley, Hyde Park and Woodhouse (LS6), Chapel Allerton and Meanwood (LS7), Roundhay, Oakwood and Gledhow (LS8), Harehills and Burmantofts (LS9), Hunslet and Middleton (LS10), Beeston and Holbeck (LS11), Armley and Wortley (LS12, our own yard), Bramley and Farsley (LS13), Seacroft and Whinmoor (LS14), Cross Gates and Halton (LS15), Adel and Cookridge (LS16), Moortown and Alwoodley (LS17), Horsforth (LS18), Yeadon and Rawdon (LS19), Guiseley (LS20), Otley (LS21), Wetherby (LS22), Garforth (LS25), Rothwell (LS26), Morley (LS27) and Pudsey (LS28). Not sure we reach you? Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will confirm in minutes.
We will always be straight with you, and in Leeds the council option is genuinely good if it fits. Every Leeds household gets one free bulky waste collection per financial year through leeds.gov.uk, then up to three more at £30 each, so four a year in total, and households on council tax support get all four free. Each collection covers up to five items and they will take furniture, mattresses, fridges, washing machines, carpets and doors. If you can wait for a date, carry everything out to the kerb yourself and you are under five items, take the free one. We would rather tell you that than sell you something you do not need.
Where it does not fit is the detail. Leeds will not take garden sheds, kitchen units, bathroom suites, pianos, hot tubs, rubble or glass including mirrors, booking is online only, and the calendar opens just four weeks ahead so slots vanish in busy periods. A Kruze collection starts from £24.99, we come the same day across most of Leeds when you book before noon, we take almost all of the things on that excluded list, and we do every bit of the lifting from any room, cellar, loft or garden rather than the kerb. You pay for the space your waste fills in the van, so a few items cost less than a full load, and every job comes with a digital waste transfer note.
If you would rather take it yourself, Leeds has eight household waste recycling centres open seven days a week, including Seacroft on Limewood Road (LS14 1LU), Kirkstall on Evanston Avenue (LS4 2HR) and Meanwood on Meanwood Road (LS7 2LP). They run 8am to 6pm from 30 March to 25 October and 8am to 4pm through the winter, with last entry fifteen minutes before closing, and they close only on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Two things catch people out. Fridges and freezers are currently not accepted at any Leeds site. And if you are not in an ordinary car you need a Large Vehicle, Hire Vehicle and Trailer Permit, with a 6ft 6in height barrier at the entrance, high roofed, medium and long wheelbase vans and anything over 3 tonnes refused outright, trailers only if a car is towing them, and twelve permits a year of which only four may be for a borrowed or company vehicle. Trade waste is not accepted at any Leeds tip whatever permit you hold, so if the load came out of a job rather than a house, the tip is not the route at all.
Around Headingley, Hyde Park and Woodhouse the summer tenancy changeover fills the terraces with mattresses, broken flat pack, desks and bagged waste, and we clear whole student lets at short notice so landlords and agents can turn them around. Across Roundhay, Alwoodley, Adel and Horsforth it is bigger work, full house and probate clearances, cellars, garages and long gardens, where the carry is the job. In the inner terraces of Armley, Beeston, Harehills and Bramley it is more often single items, a sofa or a fridge, and end of tenancy clear-outs where parking is tight and the only way out is the front door.
Your duty of care as a householder does not end when someone drives your waste away. If it is fly-tipped you can be fined even though you paid someone to take it, which is why you should always ask to see a waste carrier licence and always get a transfer note. Kruze is registered with the Environment Agency under CBDU597687 and issues a digital waste transfer note on every single job, no exceptions. If a price sounds too good and nobody mentions paperwork, that is usually why.
Plenty of our Leeds clearances happen around a move, so we do both. If you need the furniture taken to a new address rather than taken away, our man and van removals team does that too, and you can see what a move across the city costs on our Leeds removals prices page.

Leeds City Council runs its own bulky waste collection, with one free collection a year, then £30 a time, its own item limits and a list of what it will not take. We have written the whole thing up, what it costs, how long it takes, what they refuse and when a man and van is actually the better answer.
