The rate behind that guide is £100 for the first hour then £55 for each additional hour, so if your move runs shorter than expected you pay less rather than being tied to a flat fee. The price covers both movers, the padded van and every blanket and strap we bring, with nothing added on later.
What the crew actually does
We work room by room so nothing is forgotten in a cupboard or a loft hatch. Beds, wardrobes and larger units are dismantled, wrapped and then reassembled in the right rooms at the new address. Sofas, mattresses, white goods and mirrors are padded and strapped for the drive, and boxes are loaded heaviest first so the load stays stable on the road.
