Lighter tools and boxed goods suit a small van at £30 then £1.20 per mile, while timber, boards, bagged aggregates and heavier materials call for an MWB or LWB van at £40 then £1.60 per mile, or a Luton at £50 then £1.80 per mile. A SWB van sits in between at £35 then £1.40 per loaded mile. You get the right vehicle for the load and a fixed price before it moves.
