How wait and load is priced
You pay for the volume that goes into the van, which keeps it honest and flexible. A minimum load starts from £24.99, a quarter van from £50, a half van from £100 and a full van from £200. That means you are never paying for the empty half of a skip you could not fill. We agree the fill level and the price with you before we drive away, so there are no surprises and nothing added on afterwards. Heavy loads such as rubble can also be priced by weight from £45 if that works out better for you.
How it works on the day
You have two easy options. You can load the van yourself while the crew waits, which can bring the cost down if you are able-bodied and organised, or you can simply point out the items and our two-person team will carry everything out and load it for you, including bulky and heavy pieces from upstairs, cellars, garages, lofts and gardens. It is quick, there is nothing sitting on your drive for days, no permit to sort out with the council, and the whole job is usually done and gone within a single visit. That makes it a good fit for a house move, an end-of-tenancy clear-out, a garage tidy or a garden that has got away from you.
Where the waste goes
More than 85 percent of what we collect is recycled or reused. Everything is sorted back at the depot, with recyclable material separated out from the general waste. Upholstered seating such as sofas and armchairs is handled as POPS waste at an authorised facility, and fridges and freezers are degassed under WEEE and F-gas rules rather than being sent to a skip, so nothing that needs specialist handling slips through. Whatever mix goes in the van, it is sorted properly afterwards and backed by your digital waste transfer note, which is your proof it was taken by a licensed carrier.
