Shed prices including dismantling
Shed prices include the dismantling as well as the removal, so there is nothing to add on. A 4x6ft shed is £108, a 4x8ft is £144 and a larger 6x12ft is £168. If your shed is somewhere between these sizes we will price it to match. Should the shed already be down and empty, or should you also want the contents cleared, we can build that into the same visit. What is included
Our two-person crew takes the shed apart, whether it is timber, metal or a mix of both, and clears the general clutter stored inside, such as old tools, plant pots, paint tins, bikes and boxes. We deal with the felt roofing, the timber or metal panels, the door, the windows, the floor and all the rusted fixings, and we carry everything out through the garden and gate, even where the only route is through the house or down a narrow side passage. Concrete bases and heavy paving slabs are not part of the shed price and are quoted separately, since rubble is charged by weight from £45. The same goes for greenhouses, old fence panels or a summerhouse, which we are happy to add to the same visit and price together.
How shed waste is handled
More than 85 percent of what we collect is recycled or reused. Clean timber is sent for recycling into board and wood chippings, metal sheds go to a metal recycler to be melted down, and any reusable tools or good materials are passed on rather than binned. Roofing felt, plastics, glass and mixed waste are disposed of properly at licensed facilities, so none of it ends up fly-tipped in a lane or on a verge, and your waste transfer note is your proof that it was handled correctly. It means an eyesore that has sat rotting for years leaves your garden in an hour or so, with the ground swept and ready for whatever comes next, be that a new shed, a patio or simply lawn.
