For a large corner sofa, a sofa bed, or a tricky lift up a stairwell, two men and a van is £100 for the first hour then £55 for each additional hour. We agree a fixed price with you in advance, with no deposit, so a simple job stays a simple, cheap job and you always know the cost before we start.
Getting It Through the Door
The crew protects your sofa with padded blankets, straps it securely for the journey, and knows all the tricks for turning a bulky settee through a narrow hallway, around a tight corner or up an awkward stairwell. Where a piece genuinely will not fit through as it stands, we can carefully remove feet, and where possible the back, to ease it through, then put everything right at the other end so it looks and sits exactly as it should. Nothing is forced and nothing is left half-done.
The Right Van
A two or three-seater fits comfortably in a medium van, while a large corner suite or a set of sofas may call for a Luton. We match the van to the sofa so it can travel flat or upright as needed, properly padded and firmly secured, and arrive unmarked. Choosing the right vehicle also means we can usually do the job in one trip, which keeps your paid hours and your total cost down.
