How furniture removals are priced
A single item or a light part load often suits a van and driver at £75 for the first hour then £40 for each additional hour, which is ideal for a quick local run. Heavier pieces, or several items that take two people to carry safely, are better with two men and a van at £100 for the first hour then £55 for each additional hour. We agree a fixed price before the job so you know the full cost, and you only pay for the time it genuinely takes. A single short run stays a small cost, and we never round a quick job up to a half day just to pad the invoice.
What the crew actually does
We wrap each piece in blankets, strap it securely in the van and pad any corner or leg that could knock in transit. Wardrobes, beds and larger units are dismantled to clear doorways and staircases, then rebuilt exactly where you want them at the other end. Nothing is dragged across floors or bumped down steps, and we place each item in the correct room rather than leaving it by the front door for you to shuffle around later. Because we dismantle and rebuild as part of the job, a large wardrobe or a sofa bed that will not fit through a doorway in one piece is never a problem for us.

Every job is fully insured with goods in transit cover, our crews are DBS checked, and there is no deposit to pay. If you have a cheaper like for like quote from another firm we will beat it by 10%.
