Collection and delivery for eBay and marketplace buys
Bought something big on eBay, Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree and have no way to fetch it, that is exactly the job we do all the time. A wardrobe, a corner sofa, a dining set, a chest of drawers or a piece of garden furniture that is listed as collection only becomes simple when we pick it up from the seller and deliver it straight to your door. We price the work by the hour and agree the cost before we set off, so you know the full figure in advance and there is no deposit to pay. We collect from sellers right across West Yorkshire and beyond, and even a fair drive away is no obstacle, which saves you borrowing a van or making the round trip yourself.
How marketplace collections are priced
For a single item a van and driver is usually all you need, at £75 for the first hour then £40 for each additional hour, which covers the drive to the seller, the loading and the delivery back to you. Heavy or bulky pieces that take two people to lift safely are better handled with two men and a van at £100 for the first hour then £55 for each additional hour. Either way the fixed price is agreed up front and you only pay for the time the run takes. If the seller is a fair distance away we will factor that into the quote up front, so the figure never moves once agreed.
What the crew actually does
We collect from the seller at the time you have arranged, give the item a quick check that it is what you expected, and load it padded and strapped so it arrives in the same condition it left in. If the piece needs to come apart to fit through a door or into the van, we dismantle it and then reassemble it at your place. We bring it inside to the room you want rather than leaving it sitting on the drive for you to wrestle indoors. If you have bought more than one item from different sellers we can plan a route that picks them all up in a single run, which keeps the hours and the cost down.
The right van for the job
Most single marketplace buys fit comfortably in a small or medium van, which keeps the cost down for a quick local run. For a larger piece such as a big corner sofa, a wardrobe or a sideboard we bring a Luton so it travels flat, secure and with room around it rather than jammed in at an angle.

Send us the seller postcode, your delivery address and a photo of the item, and we will book a slot that suits both you and the seller. Every job is fully insured with goods in transit cover, our drivers are DBS checked, and there is no deposit to pay. Tell us the timings the seller has given you and we will fit the collection neatly around them.
